Connie Weaver is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tracker Group LLC, a strategic management advisory firm comprised of accomplished entrepreneurial executives with demonstrated success in leading change across a variety of industries.
Offering a well-rounded background in global marketing and brand management, digital strategy, customer experience, business and financial transformation, communications and investor relations, Connie is focused on recruiting a team of visionary, trailblazing executives to deliver world-class solutions to a growing client base.
Fortune 100 Executive Leadership Experience
Prior to Tracker Group, Connie was the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at TIAA, and built a dynamic expertise across a variety of complex, highly regulated industries.
During her 7-year tenure at TIAA, Connie led the re-imagination of the Fortune 100 company’s brand, identity, customer experience, and digital presence that significantly increased the company’s unaided brand awareness, customer engagement and business results. Her efforts culminated in 2016 with the re-introduction of the company as TIAA.
Business & Investor Relations Transformation
Connie has a track record of building sophisticated marketing capabilities, following her self-built “playbook” to drive major brand and digital transformation for TIAA, AT&T, BearingPoint, The Hartford and MCI. At AT&T, Connie transformed an iconic consumer brand into a global business-to-business brand. At BearingPoint, she repositioned and differentiated the brand and aligned it with the company’s strategy to achieve business goals.
Connie oversaw crisis communications at The Hartford, guiding the company through the Great Recession and leading a comprehensive rebranding initiative in connection with its 200-year anniversary. Additionally, she created and led award-winning investor relations programs and helped orchestrate major capital transactions at AT&T, Bearing Point, MCI and Microsoft. Currently, she serves as the interim head of investor relations for Avon (NYSE: AVP) during its significant turnaround.
Board and Advisory Experience
Connie currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Cerberus Capital Management. Previously she served on the board of Westchester Group Investment Management Holding Company from 2015-2017. She served on the board of Primark Corporation and chaired the Audit Committee from 1994 through the sale of the company in 2000; and she served on the advisory board for Color Kinetics, until it was sold in 2007. From 1998 to 2009 she served on the board of VeriTeQ (formerly Digital Angel) and chaired its Compensation Committee.
In the non-profit sector, Connie is on the national boards of Make-A-Wish America and National Council on Aging. Her regional boards include: The American Red Cross-South Florida, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center Inc, and Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. She serves on educational boards: University of Connecticut Foundation, University of Maryland--Robert H. Smith School of Business, and University of Saint Joseph. She was also a board member for Yale University’s Center for Customer Insights from 2011 to 2015.
Global Training & Education
Connie holds a B.S. with honors in Textile Science and Marketing from the University of Maryland. She completed the executive financial management program at Stanford University and the global strategic management program at IMEDE (Switzerland). She also completed programs in finance, marketing and strategic planning at Columbia University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
